Biography: Age 22, Peter Hedley is a laboratory assistant with I.C.I., and comes from Durham City. He has raced at most North-East and some Scottish circuits, and also at Cadwell, Charterhall, Mallory, Oulton, etc. Last year was his first "Manx", and he finished 58th in the Junior at 73.10 m.p.h. His machine is a 1956 ex-Reg Dearden model, with 1957 "mods".

Junior – Norton
Age 21, Peter Hedley is a laboratory assistant with I.C.I., and comes from Durham City. He has raced at most North-East and some Scottish circuits, always managing to qualify for the finals, only to have trouble in them! His machine is the one on which Anthony Fisher finished 35th (with a replica) In last year’s Junior Manx. Since then it has been modified by Mr W. Hocking, of Shildon, County Durham, who does all Peter's tuning.
