Biography: Age 35, a jig and tool draughtsman from Tottenham, London, J.C. Holloway was a newcomer to the M.G.P. in 1956 - but not to racing generally, for he had had four seasons in the game ("with no successes, but still trying!"). In the 1956 Junior Manx he finished up in the hedge at Sulby on his fourth lap, but in the same event in 1957 he came in 62nd. In 1958 he was 51st in the Junior, but retired in the Senior. In 1959 he rode in the Junior and finished 72nd, whilst last year he was 53rd in the same race at 74.73 m.p.h.
His machine is a 1954 7R, standard except for the usual mods, to the engine. Hobbies: "Resting and fishing - they go well together."
