Biography: Age 23, David Edward Houston is a mechanic and comes from Alnwick, Northumberland. He started racing in 1958, and since then has competed at Catterick, Charterhall, Errol, Kirkcaldy, Oulton and Thornaby, with no success up to date. He rode in the Manx for the first time last year, and came home 50th in the Junior at 75.81 m.p.h. His machine is a 1957 model, with 1958 modifications.
