Digby Larque

Biography: Age 42, Digby Larque comes from Coventry, where he is a tester for Jaguar Cars. He is well-known as a 125 c.c. class competitor, and last year achieved a win at Aberdare Park and was second at Crystal Palace, Thruxton, Warminster and Alton Towers; he also competed at Brand's Hatch, Silverstone and in the British Championship meeting at Thruxton, in which he was fifth.

This season he has been placed third at Aberdare and fifth at Alton Towers. For his first visit to the Isle of Man he has switched from his usual E.M.C. to Jack Anelay's new rotary-valve four-stroke machine, Anelay's (Blackburn) Ltd., being his entrants for the race.
