Biography: Age 25, Barry (Wam) Lindley is a motor cycle mechanic and comes from Cresswell, near Worksop. He has ridden in one or two Group trials and took part in the 1958 Clubman's race at Oulton Park. His next race was 1958 500 c.c. Snaefell, in which he retired when lying well up. In 1959 he was 37th in the Senior Manx, whilst in the same event last year he was 31st at 83.07 m.p,h.
His machine for this year's race is a brand new G.50. He writes: "If my entry for the Manx had been returned, I would have joined the Foreign Legion!" Hobbies: "Listening to traditional jazz, and attempting to cross-breed greyhounds and tortoises."

His machine for this year’s race is a 1958 model B34 with modified forks, oil tank and exhaust system.
