Biography: Mount: Junior – 348 c.c. Velocette
Age 37. Occupation, Printer. Lives at Harrow. Was an N.C.O in the R.A.F. from 1940-45, on aircraft Maintenance.
He has ridden in Trials and on grass tracks since 1930, also at Brooklands and Donington “with moderate success” as he tells us, and competed in the 1939 Junior T.T. but came unstuck at Ramsey on the third lap.
His mount for the Junior is the 1939 rear-sprung Velocette which was ridden in the T.T. of that year by the late Walter Rusk and has since been in storage. The only alteration made are those necessary to suit the engine for running on Pool petrol. His entrants are Messrs. Slocombes of Neasden.
