Biography: Age 28; a motor engineer, of Chapel-Allerton, Leeds. Is a well-known scrambler in the Yorkshire centre and has had a few successes in local trials. His first road race was at Esholt Park at Whitsuntide last year, when he finished second to Denis Parkinson, in the 350 race class. Machine, 1949 B.32 B.S.A.
