Biography: Age 31, George Murphy is an instrument repairer from Tulse Hill, London. He began racing in 1952 and has since taken part in many short circuit events. In addition to Island appearances in the Clubman's races and in the 1955 Manx Grand Prix, when he was 24th in the Junior and 21st in the Senior race.
