Biography: Mount: 125 c.c. – C.Z.
Age 30, Vaclav Parus comes from Prague, Czechoslovakia, and is a mechanic. He has been racing for a number of years, almost invariably in the 125 c.c. class, and he is a works rider for the C.Z. factory, although entered for the T.T. by the Ustredni Automotoklub of Prague.
In the 1954 season he was winner at Zandfoort, Holland, and also in the Hedemoraloppet in Sweden; he was in the Grand Prix of Czechoslovakia and also at the Sachsenring – all these races being in the 125 c.c. category.
Last year he was first in the 125 c.c. G.P. of Czechoslovakia, and second at both Zandfoort and Hedemora. His machine for the 125 c.c. is a double-knocker single, with a four-speed gearbox.
