Age 24, Frank Perris is a draughtsman, and comes from South-West London. He is riding this year as a member of the official A.J.S./Matchless team.

His Island experience includes the 1951 and 1952 Senior Clubman’s races, where he was placed 32nd and 18th respectively. Successes in 1954 included a “third” in the 1,000 c.c. class at Crystal Palace, sixth at Thruxton A.C.U. meeting, and second in the 500 c.c. race at Tubbergen, in Holland.

He crashed in practice for last year’s T.T. Races, but recovered in time to ride in the Senior race, in which he was 26th.

Senior - Matchless

Age 23, Frank Perris is a draughtsman, and comes from South West London. He is one of Britain’s up and coming riders, as visitors to the recent Silverstone meeting will be well aware, Frank, on that occasion, was placed second in both 350cc and 500cc 10-lap events.

His Island experience consists of the 1951 and 1952 Senior Clubman’s races, where he was placed 32nd and 18th respectively. Successes last season included a “third” in the 1,000cc class at Crystal Palace, sixth at Thruxton ACU meeting and second in the 500cc race at Tubbergen in Holland.

In addition to the Silverston successes mentioned above. Frank was third in the 350cc class and second in the 500cc class at Crystal Palace last Easter Monday.

He is a non-starter, having crashed in practice, and his machines are being ridden by P.H. Carter.
