Biography: Comes from Gresford, Wrexham, and describes his age as "over 40." Is very fond of Ireland and has ridden in many races there, going back as far as 1931, when he finished ninth in the 350 class of the Ulster Grand Prix and was second in the class handicap. Won the 350 class of the North-West "200" in the 1932 and the same class of the Leinster "200" the next year, each time on an A.J.S. Was seventh in last year's Senior T.T. on a Norton, at 77.34 m.p.h.
