Age 34, Graham Price is a rigger at Abbey Works, Port Talbot and comes from Bridgend, Glam. He started racing in 1950 when he bought Ray Petty’s 1949 7R, and competed at Ansty, Blandford, Eppynt, Silverstone and Thruxton. Then he acquired a B.S.A. which he raced on and off until 1956, with occasional rides on a Manx Norton, but “without success.” He restarted racing this year with his present machine a 1953 7R ex-Mike O'Rourke.
