Paul Richardson

Biography: Age 21. Paul Richardson is a tool-maker and comes from Leamington Spa. He is now in his, third season's racing, which up to date has all been carried out on a 1956 350 c.c. Gold Star. He writes as regards his successes: "I'm afraid I haven't got any; every time I have been on the Leader Board either the bike stopped or I fell off."
At the end of last season, Richardson and his mechanic John Kelly decided to build a "Special" — hence the name "Kelrich". The Kelrich is based m a 1956 Gold Star with twin spark coil ignition, a shortened stroke (76 x 76.2) and "cut-about" frame, front forks, etc. Paul pays trtbute to "Kel" for all the hard work he has put in, and also to Gerry Day, who has fixed all the electrics. Hobby: Rugby football.
