Biography: Age 30, John Stancer is a heating engineer fitter's mate, and comes from Louth, Lincs. He has been racing since 1954, and has competed at Aberdare, Aintree, Cadwell Park, Mallory Park, Middlesborough and Scarborough, getting into all the finals, and has won the Eric Bowers Trophy for he fastest six laps of the year by a "B" class rider at Cadwell Park. His machine is a 1961 G50 model.
