Biography: Age 34, Harry Stanford is a motor-cycle trader and comes from Wellington, Shropshire. He has ridden at Mallory Park and at Thruxton, where he was second in the 350 c.c. class of the "9 hours." In 1958, too, he was sixth in the 250 c.c. class of the North-West "200" and second in the same class of the Cookstown "100." He rode a Velocette in the 1959 Lightweight T.T., but had to retire on the second lap, and his luck was out again last year for he retired in both Lightweight and Junior races.
