Biography: Age 22, Peter Thurston is a steelworker, from Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire: who has raced at his local Cadwell Park. He rode in the Manx for the first time last year, and finished 57th in the Senior at 74.89 in.pit. His machine has a 1959 T100 Triumph engine and gear box with racing kit, fitted into a Manx Norton frame. (TT Special, 7 September 1961, p.13).

Age 21, Peter Thurston is a steelworker, from Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire; who as raced at his local Cadwell Park. Describing his machine he says: “Everything is Triumph except for the Norton Featherbed frame, petrol and oil tanks, and forks.”
The engine is of 1956 design, which Peter has built up himself.
