Senior – Norton
Age 25, Ian Wallace is a design engineer and comes from Stirling, Scotland. Until 1958 he had ridden 250 c.c. machines only, at practically all the Scottish circuits, but in that year he added 100 c.c. to his power and rode a Norton in the 350 c.c. Snaefell race, finishing sixth at 80.79 m.p.h. This gave him a ride in the Junior Manx of the following day, and in this he finished 22nd – at 82.72 – with a replica. Last year he retired in both races.
Hobbies: Badminton and music.
