Biography: Age 25, William Frank Wallwork is a signwriter and decorator and comes from Walkden, near Manchester. This is his first T.T. but he has had plenty of experience on short circuits, and in races up to 250 c.c. has scored two firsts, a second. two fourths, three fifths and several places below tenth.
His Bultaco is a standard T.S.S. racing machine, whilst his B.S.A. is a C.15 Star, the engine of which has been tuned by L. E. Evans, of Patricroft Motor Cycles, who are his entrants for the 250 c c. race. He has modified the frame, cycle parts, tanks. etc., to "racing spec." himself. (TT Special, 16 June 1961, p19)
