Biography: Mount: Senior – Norton
Age 26, J. R. Waring is a civil engineer, and comes from Calgary, Alberta, Canada – home of the famous “Calgary Stampede.” An official entry of the Canadian Motor Cycle Association, he is paying his first visit to Britain, and will be riding a 1956 model Manx Norton in the Senior race.
He has competed in airport races at Airdrie (Alberta) and Abbotsford (Vancouver), and his score to date includes one third and two second places. Hobbies: photography and mountaineering.
