Biography: Age 43, F. Wastell is a civil engineer from Onitsha, Nigeria and is at present on leave. He says that he has not ridden a motor cycle for years, let alone raced one, but he was a regular competitor at short circuit events before and shortly after the war, having competed at Brooklands, Crystal Palace, Dunholme, Silverstone and in several MGPs. He was S.E. Centre 250 cc. Championship winner in 1935/36. Hobbies: Bee keeping and hydroplane racing.
