Biography: Age 32, Charles Watson is an engineer and comes from Doncaster. He has ridden at many short circuit meetings and has usually reached the " finals." In the 1958 I.o.M. Southern "100" he was 13th In the 350 c.c. and in last year's race he finished 9th in the 350 c.c. class and 11th in the "500" class on a 350 c.c. machine. He entered for the 350 c.c. Snaefell race in 1958, but came off in practice and was a non-starter in the race itself. He was unlucky again in 1959, retiring on the first lap of the Junior. Last year, however, he was 35th in the Junior, at 81.54 m.p.h. Hobbies: "All-round sportsman." (TT Special, 7 September 1961, p.18)
