Biography: Mount: Senior – B.S.A.

Age 28, Jack Wilks is an auctioneer and pig farmer from Calcutta, India, and is entered for this year’s Senior race by the Ceylon M.C.C.

He has not yet competed in the Island, but he was entered for the 1954 T.T. on a 350 c.c. Norton; he crashed at Ballacraine during practising and was unable to start in the race. Jack has had considerable experience of racing in India and Ceylon, and in 1953 he won the Senior class of the Kandy (Ceylon) Road Race. Later in the same season he was Senior winner in the All-India races at Bangalore.

In August last year he competed in the Katurkudemda Races in Ceylon, where he was winner of both the Senior and Unlimited c.c. events.
