Biography: Age 33, Trevor Williams is a greengrocer and comes from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. He has not been in the T.T. for four years, but he has had ample experience of the Mountain Course for he rode in nine Manx Grand Prix races from 1951 to 1955, his best places being seventh in the Juniors of both 1954 and '55. In 1956 and '57 he rode in both Junior and Senior T.T. races, but his luck was out, for he had to retire in all four of them. Well that's 13 races over the Mountain Course - better luck this year, perhaps! (TT Special, 16 June 1961, p19)

Age 27, Trevor Williams is a grocer and comes from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. In addition to his road racing activities he is also a trials rider, and has ridden in a number of National trial. He was a regular Manx Grand Prix rider from 1951 until last September, but his first Island ride came a year earlier, in the 1950 Clubman’s T.T.; he has also ridden with success at many of the short circuits, and was winner of the Open and 350 c.c. handicaps in the 1954 North-West 200.

He was seventh at 83.14 m.p.h. in the 1954 Junior Manx, and was seventh again in the same event last year, this time at a speed of 84.17 m.p.h.

Age 22; a grocer, of Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. No previous racing experience. Machine: the B.S.A. Gold Star on which Harold Clark won the Clubman’s last year at 75.18 m.p.h. Hobbies: Fishing and swimming.
