Biography: Age 24, David Christopher Alcock is a miner, and comes from Cheadle, Staffs. He has been racing since 1957 with no spectacular successes, but with places at Aintree, Mallory Park, Silverstone and Thruxton. Last year was his first in the "Manx", and he came home 23rd on his Matchless in the Senior at 86.30 m.p.h. His machine is a 1959 G50, motor overhauled and tuned by Jim Smith, Hobbies: Rugby Union, swimming, dancing and collecting records—musical type! (TT Special, 5 September 1961, p.8)
