Biography: A gas-turbine development engineer, of Salford, Lancs. He rode in the Manx Grand Prix in 1937, finishing eighth in the Senior, and in the Senior T.T. races of 1938 and 1939, finishing tenth and twenty-fifth respectively.
Last year he entered a 1947 348 c.c. "Manx" Norton in both Senior and Junior, finishing twenty-eighth in the latter race.

In 1948, he entered a 1947 348 c.c. “Manx” Norton in both Senior and Junior, finishing twenty-eighth in the latter race. Last year, he rode a Norton again in the Junior, finishing 54th at 74.28 m.p.h. and being awarded a second-class replica.

Junior - A.J.S.
A gas-turbine development engineer, of Salford, Lancs. He rode in the Manx Grand Prix in 1937, finishing eighth in the Senior, and in the Senior T.T. races of 1938 and 1939, finishing tenth and twenty-fifth, respectively.
In 1948, he entered a 1947 348 c.c. 'Manx' Norton in both Senior and Junior, finishing twenty-eight in the latter race. In 1949, he rode a Norton again in the Junior, finishing 54th at 74.28 m.p.h. and being awarded a second-class replica. His luck was out in the 1950 Junior T.T., when he had to retire after completing five laps.
He is riding a 1948 7R A.J.S. and is entered by himself.
