Biography: Age 24, Gordon Briggs is an engineer and comes from Morecambe. He has had considerable experience of short circuit racing and, coming over to the Island last year, rode a B.S.A. in the 350 c.c. Snaefell race and finished 11th at 78.8mph. This qualified him for a ride in the Junior Manx of the following day, in which he was 48th.
