Biography: Junior - A.J.S.
Age 28, a panel beater and welding engineer, of Luton, Beds., Allan Brown has competed in many short-circuit events in the last three years, with, as he says, 'so far, no success'. He rode an A.J.S. in the 1949 Junior Manx but retired in the last lap with transmission trouble.
In the 1950 T.T. he gained his first 'International finish' when he came in 56th in the Junior at a speed of 73.71 m.p.h. on an A.J.S.
His machine is a 1949 7R A.J.S. and he is entered by Dunham and Haines, of Luton.
Hobbies: Fishing and swimming.
