Biography: Age 26, John Henry Campbell is an electronic engineer, and comes from Birmingham. He had one full season of racing in 1957, including the M.G.P. Newcomers' Race. Unfortunately he dropped the model, a 350 Gold Star, at Hemel Gate on Lap 2, and that was that. Then followed two years' National Service, with no riding, but last year he was back again in the Senior Manx, bringing his Norton home into 37th place at 81.47 m.p.h. His machine is a 1957 model, reputed to have once been owned by Bruce Daniels. Hobby: Rugby football. (TT Special, 5 September 1961, p.9)
