Biography: Age 37, Stan Cooper is a motor cycle agent and comes from Boston, Lincs. He started racing in 1946 at Cadwell Park and has had successes there and at Alton Towers, Castle Combe, Charterhall and Silverstone.
He rode a Douglas in the Junior Clubman's T.T. over the Mountain Course in 1950, finishing 23rd, and in the same race with the same machine the next year he finished seventh — first "Duggie rider" home. He rode in the Junior Manx of 1951 and both Junior and Senior in 1952, collecting a replica in the latter. He won a bronze medallion in the 1959 I.o.M. Scooter Rally! Three months later he rode in both M.G.P.'s. coming home 28th in the Junior, with a Replica, and 38th in the Senior.
Last year he rode his Ariel in the Lightweight T.T. and a 350 c.c. Norton in the Junior and Senior, but his luck was out for he retired in all three races. Hobby: Photography. (TT Special, 12 June 1961, p.22)

Age 26; electrical engineer and publican, of Witham Bank East, Boston, Lincs. Has had four years racing experience at Cadwell and elsewhere, and various successes on the grass. Machine, Douglas 90 Plus. Hobbies: Tuning motorcycles and serving pints of wollop!
