Biography: Age 28 H. Crowder is a miner from Mansfield, Notts. This is his third season of road racing and he has had considerable success at short circuit meetings. He rode in last year's 350 cc. Newcomer's race and finished 13th at 79.45 mph thereby qualifying for a ride in the Junior Manx the next day, in which he finished 28th at 80.66 mph less than a minute outside replica time. Hobby: "Staying a batchelor."
