Biography: Age 26, Peter Darrvill is an electrical linesman from Great Kimble, near Aylesbury. has raced at Silverstone, Castle Combe, Thruston and Oulton Park, and in 1957, on his 500 c.c. "P.J.D.V.," was 17th in the Newcomers' "500." This entitled him to a ride in the Senior M.G.P., in which he finished 51st. In 1958 he was 55th in the Junior and 21st in the Senior, collecting a replica in the latter.

In 1959 he finished 19th in the Junior at 85.20 and was 28th in the Senior, collecting a "Junior" replica. He also won the Montjuich 24-hour race in Barcelona and last year he was second in the same race; earlier this year he won it again. Riding with Bruce Daniels he also won this year's Silverstone “1000". He entered for both Junior and Senior M.G.P.'s last year, but did not start in either, owing to a broken leg in practice.
