Biography: Junior - B.S.A.
Age 23, Thomas Kelly is a linotype operator from Douglas, Isle of Man. He started scrambling in 1956 and rode in that year's I.o.M. Southern “100,” finishing in both classes. He was with the Royal Signals Display team from 1957 to 1959 and whilst in the Army rode at Catterick and Charterhall meetings; he finished ninth in this years’ I.o.M. Grand National.

His machine was originally a 1955 “Scrambler,” and it scrambled successfully until last April, when it was put into racing trim for the Southern “100.”
