Age 29, James Lanyon is a company secretary from Jersey in the Channel Islands.
This is his first “International” ride, but he was a visitor to the Island in 1952, riding a Norton in the Senior Clubman’s T.T. He crashed at Signpost on the first lap, suffering back injuries.
In this year’s Senior T.T. he is riding a 1953 Matchless G45 twin, and is entered by Sidwill Garages, of Jersey.
