Biography: Age 24, Derek Lee is a maintenance fitter and comes from Blackpool. He has raced at Thornaby, whilst in the 1959 500 mile race at Thruxton he was third in his class (500 c.c. single cylinder) and ninth overall. He rode in the Manx for the first time last year, and came home 61st at 70.50 m.p.h. His machine for this year's Senior is a 1961 G50 model. Hobby: "Making ends meet."
