Biography: Age 25, John Henry Leonard Lewis is a motor cycle salesman from Hounslow, Middlesex. He began racing in 1955 and has ridden at Thruxton, Brand's Hatch, Castle Combe and Snetterton with many 'places'. He finished 39th in the 1955 Senior Manx and came up to sixth place in last year's Senior at 88.63 mph with, of course, a replica.

Always very interested to see anything about John as he doesn’t think he did very well ( succeeded) but to come4 th and 6 th in the MGP. And to come 8 th and 11 th in Senior TT is pretty consistently good. Also he was ‘best newcomer’ not sure what year...and predicted to win when he sadly retired because of a broken valve I believe. - Ruthie Lewis Mrs Report this
