Biography: Age 33. Bernard Lund, from Skipton, Yorks., has competed in five years' Manx Grand Prix Races-1955-6-7-8 and 1960. He retired in the 1955 Junior, but the next year he was 22nd on a 350 B.S.A. in both Junior and Senior races. In 1957 he was 35th in the Junior but 22nd again in the Senior on his 350 Beeza. In 1958 he broke down in both races and did not ride in 1959 — "thought he had had enough." Last year. however, he was back again, in both Junior and Senior races. He finished 26th in the Junior at 83.49 m.p.h., with a Replica, but had to retire on the last lap of the Senior. His Norton is a 1958 model with 1960 mods., whilst his B.S.A. is a 1956 Gold Star. ex-F. Wallace, who had many short circuit successes on it. Hobbies: Shooting and most sports.
