Biography: Senior – Norton
Age 26, Michael McStay comes from Milton Common, Oxfordshire. This is his fifth visit to the Isle of Man, but he has competed at Silverstone, Thruxton, Snetterton and Castle Combe. In 1956 he was out of luck when he dropped his B.S.A. at Laurel Bank on the first lap of the Senior, and in 1957 he retired with a seized engine. In 1958 he finished 40th in the Senior, but last year he finished 19th in the Senior, winning a replica.
Hobby: “Avoiding work of any nature!”
