Biography: Age 26, Peter Middleton is a motor mechanic from Liversedge, Yorks. He has had considerable experience of short circuit racing, where he has gained a number of 'places' including 'firsts' at Alton Towers, Cadwell Park and Kirkby Mallory. Peter first rode over the Mountain Course in last year's 500 cc Newcomer's race, in which he finished second at 88.66 mph and in the Senior MGP of the following Thursday he was ninth collecting a replica - and the Newcomer's Award.
