Biography: Age 28, a caterer, of St. John's, Isle of Man. Parson's first race was the 1947 Senior Clubman's T.T. when he rode an Ariel Red Hunter into third place, at 71.26 m.p.h. The same year he rode a Norton in the Junior "Manx", finishing seventh at 71.27 m.p.h. He is riding the same Norton in to-day's race.
