Junior - Velocette
Aged 38 and an engineer by profession. Noel Pope is a veteran of road and track with many past successes including Double Gold Star, Brooklands lap record, solo and sidecar world records, etc.
Last year he rode a Norton in the Senior and a Velocette in the Junior. He retired in the former event, but finished twenty-fifth in the Junior, just outside the replica time.
His machines this year are new and have not been raced – a Grand Prix Tiger 100 Triumph for the Senior and a Velocette for the Junior. He is entered by Comerfords in both events.
