Biography: Age 41. Norman Price is an aircraft engineer from Princes Risborough. He began racing in 1950, and has since appeared at many of the short circuit meetings. A regular Manx Grand Prix competitor since 1952, he was 27th in the 1955 Junior race, winning a replica, whilst in the same race the following year he finished 25th. In 1957 he was tenth in the Senior at 86.56 m.p.h., and won a replica, whilst in 1958 he was ninth in the Junior at 85.27 m.p.h., also with a replica of course. In the 1959 Junior he retired on the second lap, but he finished 12th in the Senior. Last year Norman retired again in the Junior—on the last lap, this time — but finished seventh in the Senior at 90.63 m.p.h. with, of course, a Replica. His principal success this year to date has been at Barcelona, where he won the 24-hour race on a B.M.W. Hobby: Motor racing.
