Age 25, Gerald Robart comes from Toronto, Canada, where he is employed by the Lucs-C.A.V.-Rotax organisation. He is entered this year by Reg Dearden, and is perhaps best known in his own country as a trials rider and scrambles expert; he was, in fact, the winner of all the main Ontario Trials during 1954, and holds the title of Canadian National Trials Champion.

In addition to his cross-country activities he has been competing in the expert class in Canadian and American races since 1952. He was second in the expert class of the Canadian Championship road races at Three Rivers in 1954, having made the fastest lap of the meeting. He also made the fastest lap at Edenville Airport, and competed at Laconia, U.S.A.

In addition to his cross-country activities he has been competing in the expert class in Canadian and American races since 1952. He was second in the expert class of the Canadian Championship road races at Three Rivers last year, having made the fastest lap of the meeting. Earlier this season he rode in the 200-mile experts race at Daytona Beach, Florida, finishing 19th in a field of 90.
