Biography: Age 29, Tom Walker is a fitter and comes from Scunthorpe, Lincs. He has had 5 years' road racing experience and rode in the 350 c.c. Newcomers Race in 1957, finishing 47th at 69.41 m.p.h. He rode again in the 1958 350 c.c. Snaefell race, but was a non-finisher. In 1959 he finished 59th in the Junior on a B.S.A., but last year he retired on the second lap of the Senior.
His machine for this year's Senior is a 1958 Manx Norton which, he says, was originally tuned by F. Beart. Hobby: "Making Fans for Fan Dancers." (TT Special, 7 September 1961, p.13)
