Biography: Age "over 21," P. J. Walsh is an electrical engineer and comes from Edgbaston, Birmingham. He has hart pienty of experience on the Mountain Course, for he has been riding in Manx Grands Prix since 1950 on Nortons and B.S.A. Gold Stars. He has also raced at Blandford, Oulton Park,Silverstone and Thruxton with, as he says, no outstanding successes, but with a sixth place in the 1956 Silverstone Clubman's race.
He competed in the 125 c.c. T.T. of 1959 for the first time, his M.V. being a 1957 model. His luck was out, though, for he had to retire on the first lap. Last year he was 20th in the 125 c.c. race on his M.V., and 17th in the "250" on an M.V.-Villiers. (TT Special, 16 June 1961, p19)
