Biography: Civil case. Warrant of James Thompson, Coroner of Rushen Sheading, until she do enter into her own bond, to appear when required, to give evidence respecting the death of the late Mrs Ferguson. The clerk of the Rolls refused taking the bond required, on the ground that the warrant was not legal for that purpose. 30th June 1849 at 1/2 past 11 a.m. the coroner and Mr Jeffcott withdrew the warrant and the Coroner gave me his receipt for the same.
