Biography: Born in London in 1923, he studied at Oxford University and the London School of Economics. He had no formal art training to speak of, but produced high quality minimalist work often derived from the landscape around him. He participated in group exhibitions at the Piccadilly and John Whibley Galleries as well as at the Camden Arts Centre in 1968. His work also earned him solo exhibitions at the University of Sussex in 1970 and the University of Warrick in 1971. Taking an interest in the Island, he later exhibited with Arts in Mannin in 1992.
