Martin Hearne

Biography: Martin Hearne studied at the Douglas School of Art from 1966 to 1968, under Norman Sayle and Maurice Day. He went on to study painting at St. Martins School of Art, London from 1968-1971. After many years teaching art at various schools and colleges he became head of Ceramics at Bradford School of Art until retiring in 2015. He is best known for his ceramic work, but has recently returned to his love of painting.
