Description: Isle of Man Tourist Trophy Scouting badge for 2006. Has two embroidered letter 'T', one black and one yellow set on a pale blue background. Also has the Scouting emblem and 2006 in black. There is also three legs symbol in red. The badge has a green border.
The Isle of Man Cubs and Scouts work on the Double Scoreboards opposite the Grandstand at the Start / Finish Line in Douglas.
During a race the Cubs and Scouts are involved as messengers taking lap times from the Time Box to the painters and taking the painted boards to the Scouts who work on the front of the boards, putting up laps times and tearing off the lap counters. Above these Scouts work Cubs and Scouts on the clocks, showing the position of each rider around the 37 3/4 mile course. During T.T. the races are on for four days and during the M.G.P. for three days. Each Cub and Scout who works for the full three or four days is awarded the T.T. and M.G.P. Badge, which can be worn on the back of the scarf for a period of one year.
