Rushen Camp internee-made shell trinket box

Description: A pink and blue painted seashell made into a dressing table trinket box by fastening the two pieces of shell together with a blue ribbon.
Made at Rushen Internment Camp by internees and sold at Collinson's cafe craft shop (run by internees) in Port Erin. Purchased by donor who worked as a secretary at the Second World War camp.
