Rushen Internment Camp heart-shaped decoration

Description: A red woollen heart-shaped decoration with a hanging loop and filled with cotton wool. The red woollen heart has the remains of turquoise and white flower decorations and blanket stitching around the edge of the heart. The heart is backed with a checked fabric. There is moth damage, particularly on the sides of the heart.
The heart was made by Rosemarie and Anita Dalheim as a present for their parents, whilst in Rushen Internment Camp during the Second World War.
